Award Amount     

The award amount for this scholarship is $3000. Each recipient is eligible to receive this award annually

Requirements     

-Must have earned a teaching degree and be certified to teach in West Virginia
-Preference will be given to new teachers who have previously received loan assistance
-Must teach in an area of critical need or be enrolled in an advanced in-field degree course
-Must teach in a public school in West Virginia in a subject area or geographic area of critical need

Competition Level     

This scholarship earns a low competition rating. Scholarships with low competition are usually limited to students who live in a specific geographic area and/or specific group of students. We highly suggest you apply to this scholarship if you meet the requirements.
